Gas costs force some to change plans - Matthew Clark, the Morning Sun

For Nick Trayer, the latest hike in gas prices has forced him to look at making some life-changing decisions.Trayer, who lives in McCune, commutes back and forth to Pittsburg daily for work and for his classes at Pittsburg State University.But with fuel prices topping at $3.49 per gallon, the 19-year old said that something may have to change soon.“I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to move out because gas is so high,” said Trayer.Trayer stopped to get gas Monday afternoon with friends before they headed out to fish. He estimated that he spends around $200 per month in gas.
