Gas prices drive commuters to bus stops - John Lantigua and Ana M. Valdes, Palm Beach Post

Katina Osceola, 23, of Delray Beach, a student at the Boca Raton campus of Palm Beach State College, recently started riding the bus more because her boyfriend, who works at the Seminole Indian Reservation in Big Cypress, is staying there frequently these days. "He stays because he can't afford to drive back and forth every day," she said. "His truck uses diesel and that's even more expensive than regular gas. It used to take $100 to fill the tank and now it takes $200. "I get a bus pass for $45 per month with the student discount, and I have a Tri-Rail pass that costs me $50 per month.
