MVCC tries to ease pain of commuting - Daniel Bader, Obersver-Dispatch

The free shuttle bus, which the college began offering twice a week in January, solves a couple of problems, MVCC spokesman Matthew Snyder said. With the recent rise in student enrollment, parking is at a premium on the Utica campus. And with rising gas prices and the increase in the number of students finding college increasingly hard to afford, the college is doing what it can to help.
“We heard from the leaders of the student government that they wanted the college to work on this,” Snyder said.
